Topic: Frank LLoyd Wright Organic Architecture
Purpose: Students were asked to use Adobe Illustrator to redesign an existing book cover from a field related to their intended major.
Approach: I based my redesign project on a book that depicts Frank Lloyd Wright's organic design projects and architectural philosophies. I wanted to integrate elements of his iconic work, such as the renowned 'Fallingwater,' with organic shapes reflective of his design beliefs. By recreating Wright's architectural masterpieces, I wanted to establish a tangible connection between the viewer and the designer's vision. To further emphasize the significance of incorporating organic and natural design elements, I created an abstract waterfall, loosely following the Fibonacci sequence, to imbue the project with a sense of harmony and continuity with Wright's principles.
